The University of Calgary Biogeoscience Institute and the University of Alberta Faculty of Education Department of Secondary Education, are pleased to announce the annual Summer Institute in Biogeoscience Education. High school teachers from across Canada are invited to apply.

July 7-14, 2012
Barrier Lake Field Station (Kananaskis Valley)
80 km west of Calgary in the Canadian Rockies
Climate Change & Water in the Canadian Rockies

Program Cost:

$550* + GST for meals, accommodation (7 nights) & field-site transportation. Participants are responsible for their own travel costs from and to the BGS Barrier Lake Field Station (*$450 + GST for those registered in the graduate education course available for this Institute).
